His Children’s Opera Dragon on the Rocks received its début by the Canadian children’s Opera Chorus in April 2008. His works have been performed by The Toronto Sinfonietta, the Talisker Players, the Orilia Opera House, Judy Lowman, Meredith Hall, Simon Fryer, and Valery Tryon.

At the University of Toronto Rapoport holds a cross-appointment, teaching both at the Faculty of Music and in the Division of Humanities at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus.
