This is the advanced repertoire for the instrument. The Connoisseur Level includes repertoire that assumes a mature command of the instrument and a sophisticated and musical comprehension. It also includes works in which to develop these skills further. The demands on the player have grown steadily over the centuries and have resulted in n much wider range at the most demanding level. The Connoisseur is the entry to the concert repertoire.
